Our Social Studies theme this bimester was “Goods and Services”. Grade 2 decided on which goods and services we could offer at school during recess time and formed 4 different businesses: a car wash, a massage clinic, selling crafts and selling  snacks. We researched company names and logos, and then made advertisements to promote our companies. This project taught us about goods, services, investments, and the difference between: sales, costs and profits.

After 3 days of stiff competition, the company that earned the most profit was: MASSAGE ME!

After a lot of hard work in our classrooms, the computer lab and Art room, we showed off our Science Fair projects. Everyone was very impressed with our projects studying the past, present and future.
